Purslane has enormous vitamin and mineral value. When raw, it is a source of vitamin C (21.0mg\/100g), potassium (494mg\/100g), and magnesium (68.0mg\/100g), and also has interesting amounts of iron (2.0mg\/100g). When eaten cooked, it is a source of potassium (488mg\/100g) and magnesium (67.0mg\/100g), and also provides vitamins A (93\u00b5g\/100g) and C (10.5mg\/100g). C<\/span>constitutes one of the greatest plant sources of omega-3 fatty acids, and may contribute to a lower risk of cardiovascular disease.\u201d Furthermore, they have a high content of vitamin C<\/strong> and of vitamin A<\/strong> and of minerals<\/strong> as the potassium<\/strong>, the magnesium<\/strong> and the iron<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
