During the ripening process, tomatoes change from a bluish-purple hue to completely black.<\/span><\/p>\n

It has the potential to help combat conditions such as diabetes, obesity, and even cancer. According to the publication, the fruit is rich in anthocyanin, a powerful antioxidant that is also responsible for the pigmentation of tomato skin.<\/span><\/p>\n
