Description
Creeping varieties of pinegrass are often planted in rock gardens or tucked into stone walls. Thicker pinegrass is a favorite in beds and borders. Its leaves are long, ranging from 10 to 30 cm in length. Its flowers appear in spring and last only a few days.
Its astringent and diuretic properties help treat gonorrhea, diarrhea, kidney and bladder infections, stimulate the healing of bone fractures, act on the elastic fibers of the arteries, act in cases of inflammation and swelling of the prostate, accelerate skin metabolism, stimulate healing and increase the elasticity of dry skin, and are also indicated for combating hemorrhages or cramps, gastric ulcers and anemia.
It is also used as a deep moisturizer, helps prevent varicose veins and stretch marks, cleanses the skin, strengthens nails, adds shine to hair, and helps treat cellulite and acne.
