Description
Name
Wholemeal Bread
Whole grain bread is a term often given to breads made with significant amounts of whole grain flour, usually wheat, and sometimes dark-colored ingredients such as molasses or coffee.
Not to be confused with seed/grain bread. Sometimes seed breads have a white or light crumb, which is not synonymous with whole grain. Whole grain bread flour has a very low or no refining rate, preserving most of the grain's nutritional properties. Therefore, it is rich in fiber, unsaturated fats, vitamins, and minerals.
